I DON'T GET MANY FIRST BUT THIS WAS SO DARN CUTE. IT SEEMS LIKE MOST OF THE DOGS IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD WHEN THEY ESCAPE FROM THEIR YARDS THEY COME TO ME. AND THAT IS FINE WITH ME BECAUSE THEY TREAT YOU SO MUCH BETTER THAN MOST HUMANS EVER WOULD. I HAVE RESCUED BOTH OF THESE DOGS MANY TIMES BUT IT'S THE FIRST TIME THAT DOGS THAT I HAVE RESCUED INDIVIDUALLY TEAMED UP AND CAME TO MY DOOR TOGETHER. YOU CAN JUST IMAGINE THE SMIRK ON MY FACE WHEN THEY SHOWED UP TOGETHER. IN AUGUST I MENTIONED RESCUING A YORKIE AND A TERRIER FROM BEHIND ME. BOTH OF THEM HAD BEEN NEGLECTED AND THE TERRIER WAS ON A CHAIN 24/7 FOR A YEAR OR TWO. THE YORKIE HAD TERRIBLY MATTER FUR ON HER LEGS. I GOT ALL THE MATTING OFF AND STARTED KEEPING THEM INSIDE OUT OF THE HEAT AROUND 10 HRS. A DAY AND WOULD PUT THEM BACK OVER THEIR FENCE EVERY EVENING SO THE WOMAN WOULD KNOW I WAS NOT TRYING TO STEAL THEM. WELL THEY WOULD COME BACK TO ME EVERY NIGHT AND THE WOMAN NEVER CARED SO I ENDED UP KEEPING THEM AND GOT THEM BOTH FIXED AROUND THREE WEEKS AGO. THEY SLEEP WITH ME EVERY NIGHT NOW AND THEY HAVE A GREAT LIFE NOW AND WILL NEVER BE ABUSED AGAIN. LIKE EVERY RESCUER I DEFINITELY WAS NOT LOOKING FOR TWO MORE PERMANENT FAMILY MEMBERS. BUT AS ALL RESCUERS KNOW ONLY TO WELL THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS IN THE LIFE OF A RESCUER NO MATTER WHAT YOUR ORIGINAL INTENTIONS WERE    ''SURPRISE - SURPRISE''
