A few weeks ago I rescued a kitten about 8 inches long laying next to the water pan in my driveway. He did not have a lot of energy so I gave him worm medicine hoping that was his problem. Then about a week ago there was three 6 inch kittens under my mobile home. Very surprisingly they allowed me to pick them all up together. The mommy was young and I domesticated her awhile back. So this was a unusual opportunity to rescue kittens that were still nursing and the mommy at the same time. So I put them in the bathroom for a few days and luckily found someone that would take them and said as long as they did not have life threatening health issues they would go up for adoption. So how nice it was to be able to save the 4 kittens and the mommy. I will admit the kittens were a lot of fun to play with and the mommy adored me. I was so tempted to keep the mommy but did not want to seperate the sweet kittens from their mommy and I truely hope they have a long happy life ahead. It did my heart good to be able to help this very sweet cat family that has so much love to give.
