Bloodhound & Pitbull Rescue

Published on: September 4th, 2016

I thought that I had rescued almost every kind of dog imaginable. But yesterday a Bloodhound and a Pitbull wearing Collars showed up in my yard. I had rescued many Pitbulls but never a Bloodhound before. I also knew for sure the Bloodhound was not a stray running the streets homeless like so many other dogs that come to get cold water and food in my driveway everyday. So I hooked both of them up to 20' Cables in the yard and wondered what the heck was I going to do with them. Luckily about a half hour later a neighbor lady a few doors down that I did not know came looking for them. So I got two leash's and helped her take them back home so it was a very happy ending. In a few hours they could have wondered off quite a few miles away and somebody would probably snatch a Bloodhound up in a second. I have no idea how expensive they are but I am sure I would not be able to afford to buy one. I am known as the - Birdman of Long Beach - and I rescued and doctored over 4,000 injured pigeons in 10 years. If anyone around the Long Beach Ca. area needs help with a pigeon or just advice please contact me - 214 - 2721545 - -  I also have a friend who has Aviaries with hundreds of permanently disabled pigeons that most likely would take a pigeon off your hands. Also Long Beach Animal Hospital on Anaheim is a Wildlife Hospital and takes in Wildlife free of charge. Please do not return banded racing pigeons back to racing clubs. With the exception of a few lucky pigeons with good blood lines that are used for breeding. As soon as they are no longer satisfied with a pigeons performance they kill them with no remorse. Please help a injured pigeon if you find one. They can't peck you hard enough to hurt you and they don't carry diseases to humans. Pest control companies spread lies for years to sell products. Please give pigeons the respect they deserve. They were War Hero's and gave up their lives so you could enjoy the freedom you have now.
