In Salé, Morocco, Hajar Azour runs two shelters—one for dogs and one for cats. She rescues animals from the streets, feeds them, cares for them, and works to find them loving homes in Switzerland, France, and Belgium.
Recently, Hajar was running dangerously low on food.
“I’m going through the month in debt every single day,” she told us. “It’s hard, but I’m trying to stay strong for the sake of the two shelters.”
Harmony Fund donors stepped in. Working through Animal Webaction, we helped make a large shipment of food possible, giving Hajar the supplies she desperately needed to keep feeding the animals.
Afterward, Hajar wrote: “This day is a miracle for me. I hoped a miracle would happen so we could continue.”
Thank you to our monthly donors who made this mission possible.
