“I wasn’t expecting it, and you can’t imagine how much you’ve helped me. It’s been a huge relief. I no longer have to worry about taking money away from essential expenses to care for the animals. I could never provide enough food, medicine, and veterinary care for the dogs without your help. I will be eternally grateful. What you do for us may seem like little to you, but to me it is so much. It is magnificent. It is life-saving. It is a miracle I never imagined in my life. It is breathing a sigh of relief. It is sleeping more peacefully. You Gave The Animals Room to Grow!
In Indonesia, Sustiyah Purwaningsih was caring for about 150 dogs and cats who had nowhere else to go. But the animals were living packed together like books on a shelf with barely any room to move.
Harmony Fund donors helped Sustiyah relocate the sanctuary to a rural property where the animals finally have space to run, play, and rest. There are still challenges. The new property is very rural, and Sustiyah is working to make the sanctuary more comfortable and easier to maintain. But the difference is already enormous. The animals finally have room to be animals.
After receiving Harmony Fund’s most recent donation in early August, Sustiyah wrote to us: “I am very grateful for the numerous financial contributions you have made in support of my kiddos. Without your help, I may never have been able to survive with the kiddos.”
